DIY all natural facial mask using Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay!  I mixed equal parts of the clay with apple cider vinegar using a non-metal bowl/utensil.  This stuff really works!! I left it on for ten minutes.  You will feel it as it pulls and tightens your skin.  My skin was left brightened and softer.  Use it for many types of skin issues- scars, acne, blackheads, or as a weekly mask for maintaining already beautiful skin.  I purchased both products from www.vitacost.com but you can probably find them at your local whole foods store.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Stay beautiful!

2 Year Natural Hair Anniversary

I’m exited to be celebrating my 2 year natural hair anniversary!  My first big chop (BC) was in May 2011 followed by my second BC in October 2012.  It has been quite a journey since making the decision to go natural. It hasn’t always been easy but this was one of the best decisions I have made.  I have learned a lot about my hair.  My first year was the most experimental.  I tried A LOT of products trying to find what worked.  I tried henna, protein treatments, styling products, shampoos and conditioners.  I soon learned that less is more so I have stuck to a simple healthy hair regimen and I use products that work for me.  No more product junkie here lol.  I don’t have time to be spending money on every product that hits the stores cause there’s something new every day.  Looking forward to growing my hair longer.  Can’t wait to see how it will look a year from now!  Not following me?  Follow now so you can watch my hair journey and much more.
